Brokers need to illegal in Bangalore

My friend 25M found a place in Koramangala where he currently stays.

When he came across this place while driving around the area, he saw the board on the house saying 1BHK was available but there was a dude who wasn't allowing him to go inside.

He told him to go away and not to go inside. Because he was not there to make an issue, he left. He was passing by the place once again and decided to try again, because the dude didn't look like he stayed there or my friend at least didn't feel like he did.

The owner was a sweet old lady asking for 16k and these brokers keep coming and removing the to-let signing staying they will be able to make the rent 27k instead of 16k. Constantly have been bothering her for a while.

We did ask the lady why she didn't take the 27k deal from the guy (later on once we moved in). She said a lot of college students and new office goers live in the area, how can I charge them more? I hope she lives another 100 years 💕

Brokers please get a better job. You are a net negative to society like HRs in the corporate world.
