Currently living in Nahar Amrit Shakti, Chandivali, and honestly, I love the location. My share of the rent is ₹22,000 for a single room in an unfurnished 3BHK (total rent ₹68,000). My office is currently in Saki Naka, so the commute is convenient. My boyfriend and several colleagues also live nearby, so I've built a nice little community around this area.

However, my office will soon be shifting to Siddhivinayak/Dadar, and my flat lease is ending in December. My landlady is proposing to increase my rent to ₹23,500, citing inflation as the reason.

I'm now confused whether I should:

\- Stay here and commute daily using the Aqua Line.

\- Look for a place closer to my new office.

\- Find something along the Aqua Line, preferably within walking distance of a metro station.

I'm particularly looking for a \*\*single, unshared room\*\* (not necessarily an entire flat).

Would love to know the current rental scene around:

\- Marol Naka

\- Sahar Road

\- Areas closer to the Aqua Line

\- Siddhivinayak / Dadar

Also, for those currently living in Nahar Amrit Shakti, what's the current rental scene like? Is ₹23,500 for a single room in a shared, unfurnished 3BHK reasonable for this area, or is it on the higher side?

If you're living in any of these areas or know someone offering a room, please share the approximate rent.

Do you think shifting makes financial and practical sense, considering the new office location? Would love some local insights before making a decision! ❤️
