Where should a couple rent a flat if one works in Gurgaon and the other in Noida?

Hi everyone!

My wife and I recently got married and are trying to figure out the best area to rent a flat in NCR, considering both our office locations.

**My office:** Gurgaon CyberHub (office time 12-6pm)

**Wife’s office:** Noida Sector 143 (11am-6pm)

**Budget:** ₹40k for a fully furnished 2BHK or ₹30–35k for an unfurnished one

I can arrange a cab from my office, whereas my wife will have to rely on Uber or the metro. Because of this, we’re leaning towards Noida, but we’re open to other locations if there are better options that offer a reasonable commute for both of us.

Our preference is to live in a good residential society, but we’re also open to standalone flats as long as essentials like grocery stores, pharmacies, and markets are within walking distance.

For those familiar with NCR, which areas or societies would you recommend? We’d especially appreciate suggestions that balance commute time, safety, amenities, and overall quality of life.

Also, if anyone has experience with a similar Gurgaon-Noida commute, we’d love to hear how manageable it is in practice.

We are planning to shift in January.
